    Dumb down the graphics a little. Change them via the settings to: Brightness, as high as it can go, MAX Fps (frames per second), view bobbing false,

    Try going into the directory of minecraft and changing the settings file. try crapping down the graphics a little bit. 1gb of RAM cant usually play minecraft.

    I am too! got dual boot on this laptop Lubuntu/XP although lubuntu is very laggy im able to download packages and transfer them to my other computer that you!

    I personally can't believe the way Ubuntu uses downloading. I try to go to the app website on my Windows Laptop. The only internet connection I have access to! And Ubuntu can't run on this laptop...
