I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the timestamps of folders recursively based on the latest timestamp found of the files in that folder.
So for example:

Well, since SD and MMC modules are being blacklisted, then other SD and MMC cards may not work. Other memory cards may fall into the same situation. USB thumb drives should be fine, though.
Ever since I upgraded my VAIO VGN-FS660/W to Feisty the Memory Stick light on the front panel would always stay on. If you don't use it (like me), here's an easy way to turn that darn thing off.

I've had satellite internet for years (DirecPC/DirecWay/HughesNet). I'd only recommend it if you have no other options for broadband. I absolutely hate the (un)Fair Access Policy. My signal very...
Oh wow, that works wonderfully! Much better than my method!
Thanks a million! :D
Got an error on step two of the compilation directions:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXtst
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
:D
I'm glad that this worked out for someone else! It's also great that I have finally configured my mouse to work exactly as I want it to.
I have figured out how to use the search button as the middle button! Here's how you do it:
1. Download this compiled version of mvmouse. Special thanks to audax321. It was compiled under...
I tried that keystroke combination three times and it did not disable it. :(
EDIT: The command "xkbset m" turns on mousekeys. If you turn off mousekeys by issuing a "xkbset -m", the search...
I just bought an MX Revolution today. I have mapped the "Search" button for middle click and my numpad isn't working either. Oy vey.
Edit: What it does is turn the numpad into a mouse control.
I joined yesterday! The only install method that worked for me was the "alternate install" at the wiki. I'm also using FahMon and it's working like a charm.
I have a DViCO HDTV card that Ubuntu put at /dev/dsp and my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 is at /dev/dsp1. I found this info in the Device Manager (System -> Administration -> Device Manager). I found my...
From the day I was born, I took the bull by the horns, and gave you plenty to scorn, well right on! Then you said in a song that life was gettin' real tough, but hey I think that you're bluffing,...
Excellent! I'm glad this worked for another user. :)
What worked for me (and probably should for a lot of users) is to replace libsdl1.2debian-alsa with libsdl1.2debian-all. This enables OSS support which VMWare seems to need.
To do the...
I rolled back to 1.0.3 and everything almost works. I am able to connect and what not, but I don't get a response when doing a ping. It does the DNS resolution, but that's all. Any suggestions?
I completely removed the old drivers and firmware and installed all of the new stuff. Here's the errors that I'm getting:
Please help me! :)
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm using the Unix Print Services for Windows method instead.
GOT IT! :D
Thank you so much, Luca!
Well, I uninstalled all of that package crap and actually got make to work! Apparently I didn't have the linux headers installed after all. :)
Now to work on the WPA...
I did a little checking and I had to run module-assistant to install that package. I did all of that and copied the files like it says in the first post, but I've got a situation here:

I downloaded and installed the latest .deb package from here: http://linux.org.by/debian/pool/contrib/i/ipw2200/
But when I did a modprobe and a dmesg, it still says that the 0.19 is loaded. :?
I was able to fix this error:
Makefile:484: .config: No such file or directory

No clue on the...
ChamPro, I'm getting the same errors and I have no clue what do to either. :(
