okkk... looks like along with ndiswrapper -m, the first two commands came back with errors
ok i tried 0.3 but module is still ssb in lshw -C network. I don't think i did those commands Ayuthia. I'm a little cnfused about what to do next. Any ideas?
Oh i see what you meant by 0.3. I'll try it a little later and get backt o you guys. If the bug fix works, should i go back to step 3 and try that?

ok well i read through the Fiesty no Fluff thing, and it looks like i didn't have ndiswrapper set as the module. So i followed...
where can i find ndiswrapper and the drivers?
Ok here's my story, i got ubuntu running on a laptop that was given to me by a friend. I always wanted to try linux, but didn't want to sacrifice my gaming rig for it. My problem is, ubuntu on the...
It's a laptop, slow as molases and bugged to the brim with viruses. I have no idea how this came to happen, but i just thought if the hardware was good, i could probably work with it. I'm not too...
I'm not too sure, i got it off of a friend for free, so i don't really know the story.
i wanna piggy back off this thread...
If i have a PC w/o a CD drive, how can i boot ubuntu from a formatted drive? Is there any way to even install ubuntu from a flash drive to an unformatted pc?...
