    I think u should be using Unity 3D (the one that comes by default with Ubuntu 11.04) and should be using that desktop environment to see that plugin.

    Yeah, the bar on the top seems to go away for me as well whenever I change anything in CCSM, its probably a bug in CCSM.
    After u finish setting everything up, just logout and log in again....
