I did the Jaunty yesterday and after reboot my mdadm raid won't work
I had one raid 0 at /dev/md0 made up from /dev/sda and /dev/sdb since the upgrade those disks are now /dev/sdc and /dev/sdd

Oddness gone.
I did a windows fix, wiped and reinstalled
(reinstalled ubuntu)
Turns out to be a hardware issue (non usb 2 compliant cable - cheap 2.5" hdd enclosure)

I can plug a USB1.1 thumbdrive into my USB2 and it'll automount no problem.
Tried booting with drive attached to usb2.0 it seemed to work booted into gnome with EXTERNAL on the desktop double clicked....

Logged into KDE dolphin has no issues reading /home/david
Back into gnome gksu dolphin can read /home/david
nautilus still can't read /home/david/ neither can open file dialogs
Nothing appears in nautilus or any other gui application (such as open file dialogs)
