THANK YOU SO MUCH!
OH MY GOD!
How can that happen??? you guys are SO FAST!
I'm gonna try it right now!
I got a huge file with html strings (it's a babylon GLS file). Somehow I managed to convert new babylon glossaries into old babylon glossaries...
It gives me an old GLS file which can be...
It downloads native XP dlls in order to work. That's why it says you need a valid license. Anyway, many developers are afraid of Microsoft. That's what Wine developers said in their newsletter.
I believe it has something to do with:
- NOT installing IE6
- NOT installing Mono
You should install Mono. I don't know exactly what it is but I guess it's like .net framework.
Try searching on your Wine C: folder.
Type: /home/YOUR USER NAME/.wine
Look for dos_devices and C I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY
It probably created a folder onto your Wine's root.
You're using the official drivers from your motherboard CD?
If not, trying installing LIRC to see how it goes.
It's an app for remotes. I've never used it, tough.
I'm not a Wine specialist ahhauhauahua
but I think it must something related to a recently installed printer. Try reinstalling it again (Wine and your printer).
This is probably something concerning your Wine installation.
Also, make sure you're not using Compiz.
Try using PlayOnLinux if it keeps happenning.
I need the debug log.
Wine is never 100% compatible with those games installers. That's why it's a good idea to try installer such PlayOnLinux.
Install Wine-doors and select UBUNTU LOOK in the menu.
It will "try" to apply most of your apps an ubuntu look.
But I don't think this is a good idea. By now, loading themes on your winecfg makes...
Type wine /pathtocdrom/setup.exe to install the game.
You need a 'no-cd patch' from Megagames to play the game.
Typewine codsp.exe in the installation directory for singleplayer or wine codmp.exe...
DirectX is missing. I'm sure of that.
Try installing PlayOnLinux and ask it to install DirectX.
Try grabbing the MSVCP90.dll file and put it on your system32 folder. That error is usual. It happenned to me once.
www.dll-files.com (Grab the dll here)
Did you try the latest version?
It works for me. =)
Try using PlayOnLinux. I don't know if they support this game. Maybe they do. Check it out.
Try removing it and reinstalling it.
You can do it with Synaptic app.
Try the following:
It happens sometimes to me and it works for me.
I'm currently using UbuntuStudio 8.04 in my home studio. Anyway, it seems that my hardware specs are a little outdated. I'll probably have to buy a newer and better motherboard, add more...
I'm gonna try that!!!!
Thank you so much.
Hi, everyone! =D
I just migrated from XP to Linux again. I couldn't stand using XP. Anyway, I used to use Fruit Loops to make my beats on Windows. Alright, now I got everything I need except for...
