Has anyone tried their luck with VirtualBox, I did and I must say it's pretty amazing. Then again using it on a late 2012 iMac anything is going to be amazing.

I have to say I am absolutely thrilled at the performance of Ubuntu inside VirtualBox. Other than not doing 3D applications (which is not why I installed in on the iMac) it performs absolutely...
As a general rule of thumb I ALWAYS go with a Linux distro that is AT LEAST a year old and the most PREVIOUS version.

Totem will play a paticular video but not sound. So I get to see what the video is but there is no sound. When I configure my Bluetooth headset to hear the sound I get an internal data stream error....
