I have no proxy, so don't know how it happened. I just got back from a weeks trip and it was like that.
I just remove everything in the lists dir and then the update started...

Vuze was opening some program... I uninstalled it... then started opening SubDownloader... uninstalled it... now it's opening Miro!

I did need all the blacklists. I suppose that if your linux detects and loads b43, you do need to black list it with ssb in order to use ndiswrapper.
