I got a reply in the compiz fusion forum, where I was told that it was an effect of ubuntu, not of compiz fusion.
hello,
the new Ubuntu has a cool effect and I wonder if it's part of compiz fusion.
When you start an application, e.g. Firefox via the panel, the icon of the app quickly grows bigger around...
The changelog says
"# Linux host: compatibility fixes with Linux > 2.6.24"
for the versions 1.5.6 (19.2.08 ) and 1.5.4 (29.12.07).
Or is there another info how to find out which kernel is...
Hello,
I am running the 2.6.24-zen4 kernel without major problems so far. Unfortunately, Virtualbox doesn't want to renew its kernel module anymore and thus doesn't work.
Does anyone use...
I'd love to use this kernel, since it feels really faster, unfortunately my sound card doesn't work anymore.
It's an onboard chip called Analog Devices AD1981HD.
I thought this should work,...
well, I added the needed modules in:

aes_i586
dm-crypt

What is the timing for best responsiveness with an dual core CPU?
With single core CPUs it's 1000 Hz. But...

When I update it with KernelCheck, will the modules for the encryption be still there? I dont'...

still, after executing the script, the background changes automatically. doesn't matter, it works!
cactaur: thanks fpr the quick answer. unfortunately it doesn't work for me and I actually don't understand the background thing completely...
I actually don't understand the purpose of this line:...
it works great as desktop image. but I'd prefer to use it only as a screensaver. Any ideas how to get that working?
I switched back to Amarok now, beacuse Exaile is a lot slower when handling large playlists, und is not as responsive in general. additionally, when I select several mp3s in my file manager, it does...
hello, just switched from amarok to exaile 0.2.8. !
I like it very much!
just one question:
what does the playback sink setting mean?
and a short wishlist:
This might be off topic, but since I prefer audacious over xmms and bmp, I'll ask anyway...
When opening several mp3s at once in nautilus, they are not all added to the playlist. same with xmms...
