Why label as amd64+mac if it's for everyone?
There is always build for amd64, and for amd64+mac.

I think you should. I just compiled 3.7.0-rc3 under 13.04, and it's working great. This is the first time I could get a working session on this box without passing 'nomodeset', and under nouveau as...

Totem 3.6 is no longer maintained anyway. It is now called Videos.:p
Got you, but I did some testing and removing gst0.10 plugins-bad and installing gst1.0 plugins-bad made totem play it nicely.
A warning though - there are still apps that require gst0.10 like...
I have gst0.10 and gst1.0 plugins-bad installed and your video plays well in vlc and gnome-mplayer. I have NV 304.22, 3.5 rc6

I have ati Radeon X1200 built in card using radeon drivers and is working nicely with gnome-shell but NEVER in unity.
I have never seen natty in unity but since installing Gnome-shell from the ppa for the last 2 days it looks like I'm going to like it and quite stable/impressive.
Am using Fedora 15 beta live right now and Gnome shell looks pretty and quite intuitive as this is my first time to see/use it. IMHO natty would have looked pretty as well.
Quite impressive,...
But why is Kubuntu Forum separate? IMHO it would be better off here a as a sub forum, use just one ID/credentials.
Not exactly true. A .deb or .rpm file is just another archive. And if the application is written in say c++, or java, or python, they can run in windows with a little/big effort.
