@killer_d76 I can do that as well. How do I recover the files? What command/tool should I use?

Can I do this also using an Ubuntu Live CD?

  12. Re: Smartbro Prepaid (Internet Kahit Saan) Will it Work?

Made it work by using pppd instead of wvdial. Still, my experience with weroam was slow so I just used my K800i as modem for SMART. Much better!

  23. Re: Realtek AL60 & ICH6 Intel HDA

Tried that already. Same result, no sound. I might be doing something wrong. Maybe, my other laptop is not suited for Ubuntu.
  24. Re: Realtek AL60 & ICH6 Intel HDA

Did a fresh install and installed linux-386. Still no sound. Can anyone suggest any other things that I should try?
  25. Re: Realtek AL60 & ICH6 Intel HDA

Actually, I've tried that before. Saw it from one of the forums also. But, I didn't do it after a fresh install. I'll try to do a fresh install and install linux-386 kernel.

    Thanks!
