Re: Windows tries to compete with Linux

I think SteamOS would steal the PC gaming community towards the Linux side, however, AMD is lagging behind on Linux graphics card driver support. Don't get me wrong, Ubuntu a great gaming distro, but...

Re: Hi, I'm new and I make scripts

Welcome. I suggest looking into becoming a SteamOS developer (SteamOS is based on Debian Linux). The SteamOS community needs as many programmers as it can currently acquire.

Re: Desktop vs Laptop for Gaming

Build a desktop. AMD's Phenom II and FX series processors are a great choice, and when it comes to video card solutions I'd say an Nvidia GPU with 4GB graphics memory would work wonderfully. I also...

Xubuntu is a great Linux distro. Though, with the 1GB RAM I would have chosen Lubuntu (since performance is a priority with me).
