Sorry about the "bumps". Well I have an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 and used the Restricted Drivers Manager which installed the 173.14.12-1-0 nVidia driver which is supposed to be compatable with my card....

Yea all hdd are detected in the bios and all of the partitions are detected in gparted(using live cd). Oh I've made a mistake the freash ubuntu install is on sdb5 not sdb1 soz hope that changes...
