On Archlinux with 2.6.30 kernel and:

reboot=pci
at kernel's line in menu.lst, the restart/reboot works without problems :P

So on Jaunty doesn't work, maybe with Koarmic (I hope).

Hi, I have two GRUB installed (some tests :P) on my disk:
- /dev/sda3
- /dev/sda4

Grub was installed in this way (e.g. /dev/sda3):


root (hd0,2)
setup (hd0,2)

Install syndaemon (read here). It resolves this problem for me.

Ok, I fix my problem. I use old live CD (8.10) that not auto-sync GPT table (I erase and recreate the fourth partition). Refit sync it correctly and now Grub works well.

In conclusion: no trust...
