    Just realize to make it available I should right click on empty space inside related folder

    I'd created "open with gnome-terminal" context menu by put a file name terminal at ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/terminal
    The command inside the file is: and make it executable.

    Then I run belows...

    I open your EDID file with a hex editor (ghex), coincidentally I saw that your EDID exactly have the same sum number in hex as what phoenix already shown...

    in my VCCW26FG the phoenix extracted different type of file with .dat extension
    with some warning that this is not an up to date version of edid file
    look like below:

    0x 00 01 02...

    @ madjr: wubi already tried and fail, whether the Unetbootin downloaded but not yet implemented... still looking for a logic reason to do it.

    the only existing options are to enable/disable external boot device and enable/disable network boot

    That mean you had choosen "Try Ubuntu without installing" option gold?
    My notebook will just give a blank screen after clicking that option instead.

    Any help from the expert here?

    I am not sure if the cdrom is the problem mad...

    Because the cdrom works well when I use Ubuntu 9.10 cd to install

    Tried both above suggestion with no success...

    Hit the arrow button tricks works to bring out language selection screen...
    Running wubi from inside windows operating system give me several same...

    Hi all,

    I am totally blind about linux

    As the title I am unable to install the latest realease of ubuntu 10.04 both the 32 bit neither the 64 bit. The Sony Vaio it self come with 64 bit windows...
