Running 10.10... I've really screwed up my video settings, etc. somehow and have made multiple posts to the forums requesting help; and no one has responded.

Thanks for the well-wishes! I'm actually back in Buntu; but it's unable to detect any nvidia drivers... so... I have no 3d or anything... help meh.

The bottom line here is... I screwed up the video drivers on my Ubuntu 10.10 (64-bit). I can't boot 'normally' to Buntu; and it drops me to a command line interface.

I can go to failsafe graphic...

Running 10.10 64-bit with no problems until today. Today, I did a system update; and it appeared that one of my sources updated the NVIDIA drivers... now when I rebooted; I go straight to command...

I upgraded my nvidia driver (260.19.12) on Maverick... Since then, I'm having serious issues. If I try and change my visual effects to 'normal'; it starts searching for a driver and (gasp) blue...

I've been playing WoW without issue/flaw for over a year... Today, however, after I hit the launcher 'play'; it starts to open and then I get a crazy video screen... almost looks like a video driver...

Had autoupdate on... xulrunner hung and crashed on update... Now, I can't do anything... I can't update... remove... upgrade... janitor... install... etc...

Very strange... The music apparently copies through... but doesn't show up on my iPhone... however.... if I browse my iphone with nautilus; I can see the music tracks.

I've read dozens of messages, and Googled my fingers off.... There's dozens of threads about this; but I've yet to find anything conclusive.

I did find out how to remove packages... I removed Cairo; and that must not have been the culprit... same issue. :(

I can see the Grub fine. But if I select Ubuntu or recovery mode; the screen goes black (like booting) and then will flash some lines and in the very top of the screen sit there with lines and some...
