My system starts up, skips the grub screen, where I can (if needed) choose different kernels and options, and boots immediately Xubuntu 18.04.
I have no dual boot system but I want the grub...

no steps forward so far :(

What do you think if I try to shrink a little bit the partition in Gparted?
Because The file system is bigger than its volume!
Or do I risk to worsen tje situation?

By the way, he asked me to install it in dual boot.

When I change the volume scrolling over the panel icon, really often the Unity panel disappears for deciseconds.

After several reinstalling/unistalling now it works.
I don't know why, but I had to reinsert skype in the notification area whitelist.

This second 4.0 release doesn't work for me.
I can't see any icon (and therefore its menu) in the notification area and in some strange way skype makes unity launcher crash...
