Does anyone know what I can do?
When I open musescore, the sound on my computer stops working. I can no longer use any sound from any program. When I close musescore everything works again. What's wrong?
Btw I'm using Ubuntu...
Looks nice! I'll probably get it when it comes out
I can't figure it out! I downloaded gnome-tweak-tool and tried changing from there, but nothing happens. I restarted too. Has anyone else changed the icons and if so how?
Thanks!
oh and also I...
Nevermind! For some reason it worked that one time, but now it's still having the same problem, even though it's the older version
Oh well. I ended up reverting back to the older version of musescore from the software center and it's fine again.
Is this an ALSA plug-in issue? I don't want to have to reinstall ubuntu again
Last time when it worked I first installed musescore from the software center, but since that was an outdated version I then used the ppa from the musescore website to update it. This time I didn't...
The sound works fine on my computer until I open musescore to write music. No sound comes out (for any program) until I close the program. I went to the "applications" tab in ubuntu sound settings...
It worked! I ran musescore -v again and it says version 1.3. Thank you!

I installed musescore from the software center in Ubuntu, but when I type
musescore -v in terminal it shows that it's version 1.2, and the current version from the website is 1.3. The reason this...
There's a problem with the musescore from the ubuntu software center so is there any way to use an older version?

Sweet, it works! :)
You know how on Ubuntu Touch you can switch "lenses" (people, music, applications, etc) by swiping between pages? On the desktop version you can only switch using the icons at the bottom of the dash...
This is also better for if you have a touchscreen...
I came up with an idea that would be cool to see in a future release of Ubuntu. Currently you remove icons from the Unity launcher by right click > Unlock from Launcher. What if there was another...
I want to try ubuntu 13.10 from the iso (this page), but on that list I don't know which one to choose. I have a 64bit computer - the PC (Intel x86) desktop image is recommended but it's 32bit right?...
You know... never mind about this whole thing. I wish I could do it, but it just messed up my system and now the unity dash looks really weird. Take a look at the screenshot:

Thank you so much! But now there's another problem. :( The ./build -s works, but then when I do the next command which is ./build it comes up with this error:
./build: 57: ./build:...
How do I get rid of it? Sorry for all the questions I'm not that good with this kind of stuff.
