Hi everyone,
This is the first time I have had to post a problem in the ubuntu forum for years - which is a testament to how far Linux has come from when I first started.
I've got a Xonar...
Exactly the same issue! Its frustrating that I've got photoshop working flawlessly, yet the one thing i need to use in is pen pressure and that doesnt work!
same problem (but with photoshop cs5)
Anyone have any luck compiling the zeitgeist applet?
Mine's telling me I dont have the package 'awn' installed. Wierd.
I had a similar issue when i reinstalled ubuntu (used to disable it in Jaunty), but I decided to keep it when I installed Lucid.
I would get crackles from time to time (usually when some load was...
I tried dragging and dropping from both the web and from an image file on my desktop, neither worked.
The locale of the album is:
/media/sdb1/My Music/Daft Punk/Discovery
What kind of album...
Thanks for the tip, and I appreciate the hard work, its a good project.
Unfortunately it still does not work. I removed all albums apart from 1. The cover does not show, even though it shows in...
also same problem with no clickable buttons. I'm running Jaunty.
I used to have that a while back, couldnt figure out why. In the end i found that when I made the font size smaller, it no longer truncated.

Thanks.

Ive been using some search programs (Tracker/Beagle), which is able to read meta tags. Whilst searching for files I suddenly realised, if it can search for meta tags in files, how do I add my own...
I know this is old, but incase your still looking theres Easytag which does what you want.
He did say he was new, its not his fault he wasn't born with the knowledge of linux commands.
Was plug and play with me on Jaunty
But even if someone had a separate home directory (like me when I installed jaunty), wouldn't it still be ext3 after installing Karmic? So a clean install wouldnt help unless you wiped it totally...
No degradation at all.
I'd recommend Conduit, I find it so much easier to use than rsync.
I think you can even have it constantly monitor for changes.
nakama,
I had a similar experience in the past (I think it was with hardy). Over time it became very sluggish and it started when it became very very low on hard drive space. Even when I freed up...
£55 is indeed alot, though considering its fancy multi-touch business its not too bad.
I'm also very curious how well this works in linux and how long till drivers are made for it. Imagine all the...
old thread, but thanks for sharing this info, very handy.
Will share if i find any other things I can add.
i usually prefer my desktop to be empty, so it wouldnt bother me.
What do you mean by 'interactivity' with the desktop?
If you mean the files you leave on the desktop, can you not do so via...
