I highly doubt it, seeing that the only kind of support for 8.04 is security support, unless you get it off some kind of backport ppa.
Still haven't figured out how to use Guitar Rig as a VST. Anyone else use a wine app as a vst in another wine app?
Yep, it's been there for years.
There. Right next to all my other asian chic pics.
Zer010 I like you. Can I be your friend? Will you share your wallpaper with me?
Krazh my hero!!! Working like a charm! Input on my UGM96 and output on my Steelseries 7.1!
EDIT: I even got Guitar Rig 4 working very nicely! The only thing I wasn't able to do was use Guitar Rig...
I remember using an acorn II back when I was in school. Long long time ago...
I'll be trying that later on then!
3 or 4 year old GPU is old. My radeon 2350 or whatever it was got support dropped in under 2 years. It wasn't Ubuntu no Linux fault, it was AMDs. Actually, the community saved the CPU from peril with...
proxess@PRXSS-Laptop:~$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*.list
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/abogani/ppa/ubuntu maverick main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa/ubuntu...
You created a dependency on libjack0 when I've got a more recent one, libjack-jackd2-0. Can you compile it on libjack-jackd2-dev please?
Really? I've got ATi and it works fine.
That is compiled with Jackd1 and not Jackd2.
To install it I had to use --force-all.
I'll give it a go when I get home (installed via SSH).
Actually, only the republicans do that.
Ahh well. I'll just re-write my lua scripts, make it all work how I want it to work, and make it all better.
*sighs* I guess I just have to...
Err sure.
main.lua
require 'cairo'
package.path = "/home/proxess/.conkygui/scripts/?.lua"
require 'panel'
require 'ring'
require 'wave'
It's got to do with the beginning of your conky script, it's mayhem. Try this:
override_utf8_locale yes
use_spacer none
use_xft yes
xftfont Sans:size=12
xftalpha 0.1
uppercase no
color1...
Splitting the letters is easy. The problem is rotating them individually while applying gradients globally.
This is what I've got so far.
I can put the full text following a certain angle. Now...
Please put your code in code tags.
In lua, is it possible to have cairo renders nested in cairo renders? I'm having trouble rotating individual letters in a string of text.
The same as yesterday but with a fancy conky+lua just for kicks. Check dropbox for fullsize.
My current desktop. Dropbox for BIG screenie. Ask for the details if interested.
It's in the gconf nautilus desktop settings.
