    we got 4 of the pentium d's at work for print servers and their performance got me really intrested in this new dual core thing, and this thread/website is great! i can't wait for these to come out...

    that was the solution

    removed the kensington bluetooth adapter and rebooted with just the logitech one and it worked 100% with the default xorg.conf

    thanks for steering me in the right direction

    maybe i'm just talking to myself here but i figured out after a fresh install that my keyboard is connected to the BT mini-receiver and the mouse for some reason connects to my other bluetooth...

    yea i've got the desktop package
    bluetooth only, getting this mouse to work is the only thing that's stopping me from canning windows altogether

    i've read all over this board for solutions to my mx1000 problem and i've tried all of the stuff and i still cannot get my mx1000 bluetooth mouse to function 100% (it wouldn't have been a huge deal...

    try pinging or do a lookup on archive.ubuntu.com

    then try to update

    i had the same problem and searched all over and the work around for this problem was fairly simple
