In Ubuntu, go to System->Preferences->Main Menu.
Find Gimp (under Graphics), rightclick on it and select...

Does anyone know how to set the language in Gimp 2.6 to English? I would prefer Gimp to be in English rather than my native language, but I can't seem to find any way of doing this?

Some people still report getting the "bad" 0846:6a00 working though.

In this bugreport Willem says that using Wicd or a PPA of network manager solved his problem.

the wg111v2 is a tricky one unfortunately. I have only been able to make it work in 7.10, but for some strange reason the excact same method to make work in 7.10 doesn't work in 8.04. It might work...

The ubuntu cd has to be in the computer, and you might have to enable the cd as a source for getting ndisgtk. Inside Synaptic, you can find some preferences somewhere that let's you set what can be...

There are a lot of different versions of the WG111v2, some work, some don't, so it's a gamble.

Really? Did you get it working with encryption? or is it without encryption?

I managed to get the wg111v2 working in 7.10 with WPA using the ndiswrapper method, but it doesn't seem to work for me in 8.04, so there must be someting different with Hardy. I'll try to...
