    Re: Unable to boot Laptop

    Never mind, I spoke too soon. This is still an issue. I tried a PopOS live USB but my only option given was to Erase everything and install. I don't wanna do that as I wanna keep my files intact.

    I don't know where to start debugging this. I just get segmentation fault(core dumped) in the terminal if I run the virtualbox by command line.

    Would this help?
  10. [SOLVED] Re: Qt: Add QLabels to QListWidgetItem?

    Thanks, I was trying to use QPalette which worked before for setting the background colour but not in this case. SetStylesheet worked better for me.

    Re: Best IDE to develop java apps

    You should checkout Ionic. You can do your apps in your favourite little text editor with JS and prepare builds via command line. Its really cool.
  12. [SOLVED] Re: Qt: Add QLabels to QListWidgetItem?

    Thanks, that worked great! Just having an issue setting the background colour of the QLabel now but that is a separate issue.
  13. [SOLVED] Re: Qt: Add QLabels to QListWidgetItem?

    All I ever see is the QListWidgetItem but not the QLabel:

    QLabel *label = new QLabel();
    label->setText("test");

    QListWidgetItem *item = new QListWidgetItem();
    ...
  14. [SOLVED] Qt: Add QLabels to QListWidgetItem?

    Hi all,

    Spent nearly 2 hours just trying to add some QLabels to a QListWidgetItem. Only text would succeed in being added to it. No QLabel or QPushButton could be added.

    Is it possible or not?
  15. [SOLVED] Re: Qt - Get background colour from QLabel?

    @norobro - Thanks, this is exactly what I needed. You can also use the following to get a hex which is better for storing to a settings file:

    background.name()
  16. [SOLVED] Qt - Get background colour from QLabel?

    How would I get the colour of a Label so I can store it in the settings and restore it later?

    Gtkmm is not really for designing cross platform apps. I have developed my main project PhotoFlare with both Gtkmm and Qt. Development is so much easier with Qt I can't even begin to describe how...

    Re: System 76... Good or Bad?

    I've seen people post 4-5 hours for the Galago. For the Lemur some said 4-5 hours and others said 8-9 hours. So I'm not entirely sure but some reviews online did say it comes with excellent battery...

    I would still get the SSD. Speaking from my own experience I think its the best PC upgrade you can do.

    Re: Im done with Ubuntu Touch
