I guess this is the downside of having many options, manufactureres will not support all of them, they will choose only the most used one.
There is X, wayland, Mir, and suppors 10 other guys also...

I installed Ubuntustudio, and add Kubuntu via synaptic.
After using both desktops a number of times, I now have Nautilus sow tarting up each time i log into Kubuntu, it does not start...
