Restarting the bluetooth service works on my laptop.... I had thought that it was a bug in the upgrade path, so I did a full reinstall, with the same results... seems like a problem in natty.......

I've rebooted again, and the Bluetooth panel icon is greyed out.... running
sudo service bluetooth restart restarted it, and bluetooth is usable...
I've rebooted the machine, and the Bluetooth icon is still on... so seems permanent!

Following the posts here, and restarting the daemon did the trick!
sudo service bluetooth restart

I was wondering, because at home, we have a (*******) laptop which is used by my wife and my kids. If I map one ******* computer to one samba user on linux, then they will not be able...
Do you really need to map a user to a particular ******* machine?
Can you allow more than one user to log into the ubuntu server from more than one ******* machine? Any ideas how?
