As far as the commands I sent go, you'll want to enter them one at a time. In other words, paste the first one, then press enter, paste the second one, press enter again, and so on. Did it work?

Are you positive you are saving the changes to your BIOS before exiting? Once the boot order is changed, there is no reason it shouldn't boot off of your disc (aside from hardware issues).
The standard, 32 bit .iso is the one you'll want.

I concur. Xubuntu 12.04 is more stable then 12.10, and you can update XFCE to the latest version with a PPA (if you're so inclined).
They should partner with System 76.

I have tried all of those solutions, apart from using the wrapper. I'd prefer to use the native drivers, if possible.

Having an issue on 12.04 x64. The program installs through the terminal, but when I go to click on the icon; nothing happens at all. Does anybody know what's going on here?
