What did you change and where?
D'oh. I forgot about PPA purging. I'm trying that now, thanks.
edit: So I purged that PPA, and the Ubuntu Wine PPA. Still the same. Fekk, I think I just might reinstall from scratch. This is...
fackamato@fackamato-fat:~$ cat /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch
foreign-architecture i386
So that looks OK I guess.
edit: This doesn't seem to be wine specific:

I tried everything but it doesn't work.
Could you please post your /etc/apt/sources.list and which files do you have in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ ?

I upgraded to Xubuntu 12.04 from 11.10 and now I cannot install wine. I'm on AMD64. Here's the errors I get:

However, you'll be running a vanilla kernel. I don't think there's 3.3x kernels for Ubuntu 11.10? Looks like Ubuntu 12.04...
I'm guessing the writes are low because of the CPU, what processor is in that system?
I actually don't remember. This is running in an Atom board so I can't check the max performance anyway. It only hosts large ( >1GB) files, 3GB RAM.
I modified the script a little;
* More verbose
* "Fix" indent
Tested on a 7 drive RAID6 array (ext4), output:
$ sudo ./tuneraid.sh
Using 2 parity devices (raid6)
Try ddrescue, then create an image of the USB drive, then try recovering stuff from the image. (google ext3 format recovery or something)
Edit: just found this: How to Resize a LUKS Encrypted File System.
Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 and it's installed with the default encryption scheme. The partition layout looks like this:

Post the build output here?
Doesn't look like it. :(
Natty? I'm on Maverick :) (but I get what you mean)
Is there a reason why Natty kernels wouldn't be OK for Maverick?
How is 2.6.37 coming together? Could you please include the patch to fix the b44 kernel panic? Many Dell laptops have this chip for LAN and 2.6.37 is unusable without this patch. See...
Any benchmarks? ;)
This makes me worried.
My friend is planning a setup with 8 1.5TB HDDs on a dedicated hw RAID card set up in RAID5.
The question is wether to run LUKS on that single device, or set up LVM first...
Hi,
I'm using a Lenovo T400 laptop with an integrated Intel chipset, the module in use is i915. I've an external monitor connected to the VGA out, which at boot acts like it's cloned to the laptop...

Unfortunately it doesn't. My initial idea is to, as I mentioned, have a centralized master sudoers file on a server somewhere, and have a cronjob rsync (or scp or something) that over to all the...
