The answer is Intrepid Ibex. Just left click the Bluetooth icon in the top panel, choose "Setup device...", press "Forward", select the keyboard from the list and enter the code and press return....

Unfortunately not - I still use that ugly wired keyboard with a built-in hub and an USB mouse. Maybe 8.10 fixes it.
