    No way! That is the exact same thing I do, I use the eye drop to color match text to what ever wallpaper I am currently using.

    Either terminal or Alt+F2:

    conky (will run the default file)
    conky -c /etc/conky/conk2.conf (this is the name and path of my 2nd file, of course change the information to match your file)

    Thank you, this working as it does all hinged on getting AWN 0.3.2.1 installed and configured to align right. Once I figured that out, it all came together.

    Not an expert here, but I would rename the soruce folder to not include spaces. Replace with an _ if you want.

    Running with 'sudo' displays nothing, just enters to another line. Without 'sudo' displays

    Yes, I believe.:confused: I ran ./configure, make, make install installing many dev packages along the way.
