    in order to turn off the nvidia...did you use acpi_call, asus-switcheroo or bumbleble?

    make sure you are not using two methods at the same time, and if you arent using bumblebe the nvidia driver...

    using asus-switcheroo I could use the hdmi with the nouveau driver... but the price was high: I loosed the main screen xD

    the kernel will work with a ssd, at least in my case I change the hdd for a intel's x25m sdd, and it's one of the better desitions I've never made ^^

    I've tested both optimus solutions in my u36jc, asus-switcheroo and bumblebee (this one basicaly use vglclient to send the nvida's images to the intel card). I can't get the first one...
