    Re: Why do you format?

I'll be wiping my 3 operating systems from my laptop for a very different reason soon. I'll overwrite everything with random data, then zero the harddrive and then reinstall with as much encryption...

    Re: Two conkyrc's at once?

Read the man pages for conky? (man conky in terminal) with the -c option you can specify a different conky config file.

    conky -c $HOME/.conkyrc2

And conky will read .conkyrc2 instead. Maybe not...

Re: Need some help designing an icon.

    Much obliged.

You can see it in the apps top left corner, on the grey default sidux background and as a button on a KDE panel.

    Looks great :D

Oh and by the way WAFE stands for WAFE ain't...

Re: Need some help designing an icon.

Yes the "winning" icon will be the official icon for the 1.0 app, the winning icon being the one I happen to like the most. Or maybe I'll post a poll in the cafe or something. If more people get...

Re: Need some help designing an icon.

Didn't really start this thread with a clear Idea of what I wanted, (would have been pointless then wouldn't it?) except that I wanted a nice icon for my app.

That icon is pretty good, I took the...

Re: Need some help designing an icon.

Well I experimented some and here's the result.

    One without effects,
    one with some glow,
    one with glow + gradient

Not really happy with the glow. Any pointers?

Yeah looks cool doesn't it? (plus it's the third hit for "sound wave at images.google)

BTW if anyone wonders where I got the speaker icon from it's part of the Crystal KDE theme. It's licensed...

Re: Need some help designing an icon.

    Much appreciated.

Hmm perhaps, but maybe not all around the W? If there are lines all around you often (at least I do) associate it with vibration. Look at the speaker icon in my app, those...
