ok, workaround by ambrosa worked. have Xubuntu 12.04 64-bit. I also see a lot of accounts on login screen... but it's faster :)

I can't make "synclient -m 100" work. I always get "Can't access shared memory area. SHMConfig disabled?". wtf??
yes, some hotkeys doesn't work [eg. brightness keys, touchpad, etc]. it's "normal" [hope new kernel will fix it in future].

I have 1101ha with xubuntu 9.04. everything working but not out of the box. First of all you'll have to compile the ethernet module fro lan card. after that you can add package with backports...
any ideas? I have the same error when i try to write anything to mounted folder :/

unfortunaltelly I have eee pc 1101ha also... no wifi, no lan :/ also no 1366x768 resolution... ANY help appreciated...
