thanks, copying the mbox file did the trick.

when i read email from an imap server using the mail command in linux, it automatically moves the message into this thing called mbox.

when i check my mail using thunderbird, i don't see any of...

my fonts look kinda blurry and fuzzy around the edges, but other than that, it looks pretty good, but....i wish it was a little bit more clear

also, where is the subpixel settings in kubuntu...

yea, k/ubuntu really isn't good for newbies, if ur a newb, ur going to have a hard time doing anything other than the very basic functions....the learning curve isn't'exactly friendly...
