    afrer reading some more i come to the conclusion that you really do need two subnets for routing.
    hopefully my unmanaged switch can handle two subnets

    playing around with traffic shaping, somehow my ingress class 1:40 never gets any traffic.

    iptables -t mangle -L -v

    shows that iptables marks packages but tc never puts them into...

    high cpu usage on MPEG-4

    hi,

    on my 12.04.1 ubuntu playing a .avi file in totem which contains XVID MPEG-4 uses between 50% and 70% for the process.
    both cores show 50-70% cpu usage, somehow.
    using mplayer cpu usage...
