Odd. If my memory doesn't serve me entirely wrong, my D-Link DWL-G122 worked out of the box on Hardy (2.6.24-19). It is Rev C1.
Broken in hardy 2.6.24-21, though. :(

2.6.24-21 (Hardy) and no wireless
After upgrading the kernel with the update manager wireless broke. I've had to revert to using 2.6.24-19 to have working internet. The new -21 kernel is also very prone to freezing all input devices...
The 2.6.24-21 kernel update in the latest updates broken BOTH my office Fujitsu-Siemens laptop and my custom built home box.
The kernel boots fine, but on the laptop the machine freezees...
I downloaded the latest packages for ubuntu 8.04 which included the new kernel 2.6.24-21 and now my laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro) freezees after a few minutes of use. Two leds with lock icons on...
