I prefer Gnome to KDE, but still I cannot understand how come they made it so complicated to modify Menus in Gnome and to add programs that are not included in menu after install!. I read somewhere...

Install is easy, but please when partitioning remove the "wipe whole disc" which is the default setting. That may be very scary:-)

I guess Gnumeric is a great application. For my writing needs I prefer Kword from the Koffice suite, not that big deal but it suits my needs and I like the interface.
