Got the update last night. seems the same. The OS isn't going to magically change into OSX or Lenny because of a SP. Its just an update guys...
Thats kind of funny, as I saw compiz well after I had already switched completely to linux. It does seem like a lame reason to change OS. Those people can't be helped by reason, as they just jump...

just checked my laptop because of the post, i need 4 "important" updates totalling 347.5 MB and 7 optional updates as well

My girlfriend uses Vista, which came pre-installed on her laptop. She doesn't care whats on there, as long as it works. No complaints about windows so i'm not about to make her switch to linux.
I had Win 7 RC with the beta key and worked fine to test it out. Granted it wasn't a full release, but same thing basically.
VB doesn't care if its linux or windows
Im sure you mean pirated copy, and it should work as long as you have a valid key.
deluge works fine for me, tho im having issues updating to the newest version. but it has plenty of features and does the job
If you suspect a virus. run a virus scan. but without root privelages a virus is dead in the water on linux
