    I have also seen the frustrating "use this source" problem. The issue is a connectivity issue. I was connected, but apparently the connection wasn't stable enough.

    To be clear, the kernel in that PPA is 2.6.32-16, but it includes a new DRM bugfix backport from upstream, which is intended to fix crashes like this.
