Does anyone know how to connect to a WD mycloud using FileZilla?
I've tried internal and external IP address of my mycloud but both fail, with message unable to connect to server.

OK, so have found a workaround. If I browse to www.amazon.co.uk, it fails, I had the idea that if I could ping the address, which I can, I 'should be able to get there. I searched google for amazon...

Tea for one, on the other machine I have no issues at all. As an update for an unknown reason, YouTube now works, but...... still can't get to amazon.co.uk. frustrating..

Thanks for the suggestion tea for one, I updated resolv.conf, but it makes no difference. I can still ping the sites but still unable to browse them.

Just tried pinging amazon, reply received but still can't browse to it???

Only the website cannot be found. It doesn't happen with all sites, so far Amazon and YouTube

Update, I've just tried looking for updated drivers and there apparently are none

I like it. All the stability of Ubuntu with the advantage of Cinnamon, I don't personally like gnome.

DRM editions can generally only be viewed in kindle reader (assuming they're from Amazon) plenty of other books available that don't have that.
It 'is' possible to remove DRM, you'll need to Google...

Just installed Ubuntu 20.04 and cannot access YouTube from Firefox.
I've also tried chromium, disabling the firewall, installing restrictedextras. All to no avail.
What can I try next.
