If I understand cariboo correctly, then this should work

on sda (4Gssd) /root
on sdb (32ssd) /var and /home

And your right about the Windows version, oem was only 12G total, divided 4G/8G

Did you do the upgrade from 16G to 32G ssd yourself? Looking at the spec I see the 901 oem was a 4G ssd and 16G ssd. Can't seem to find the actual transfer speeds of the ssd, curious.

I'm using a sata hdd and have no speed issues, can't imagin a ssd being slower that sata.
