What I mean is does it manage all the nodes correctly?
Is the UI dependable?

I'm about to spin up a private cloud here and I am curious, in general, is anyone using UEC in a production environment? Are you happy with it?
thanks!
Hmm.. I just read the guide... and I still can not find my slapd.conf file.
Installing the new version 'solved' this issue:

I'm running 8.10 x86.. Avidemux works fine (for what that is worth)...
The source is a DV AVI..
cowmix@maupin:~/vidz$ ffmpeg -y -i VID.avi -pass 1 -deinterlace -vcodec libx264 -b 1.5Mb -g 18...
It says (AFAICT) that is can use it.. I'll have the server in a day or two and I'll let you know if I want / need the RAM.
thanks!
I'm building a cheap 1U server:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816110030
.. and it says it supports ECC memory.. Should I bother buying it?
I'll be running 8.10 server...
BUMP!
I'm having the same problem from two installs of 8.04.1.
Most DV camcorders do on-the-fly A->D convertion... so dvgrab should work when encoding VHS tapes.
Yeah.. that's it.
It will not capture for more than a few minutes when I get a crash like this:
mmarch@Cowmix-desktop:~/cap/cap2$ sudo dvgrab
Found AV/C device with GUID 0x0000850000849fea
Capture Started

Here are some Mythtv .20 dpkgs for Dapper..

I wonder if anyone has used them yet..
Don't forget to turn off debug mode so things run A LOT faster:

Ok.. I found the answer.. I have to run 'gdmsetup' to allow XDMCP...
BTW.. the solution was contained in this post.
I am running Breezy 64bit and I am having the same issue where I get the 'startup' X screen but no login prompt.
