My HTC Shift PC manufacturer has released a NEW BIOS update for window OS and I am wondering whether there is/are a way(s) within ubuntu that can update bios from other OS files (*.exe)?

to answer your question....IT IS A BUILT IN RADIO...Its an HTC Shift and u can verify from the below Specs (by the way...HTC does not belong to me and i am not promoting...

my solution was a tuff one to decide and that is to make a fresh installation from Ubuntu 8.10 live CD and all the wireless problems solved forever.

make sure you back up your important documents...
