    Its got 1g RAM and booted up lubuntu 14.4 live fine.

    It's just there are screen resolution issues with 14.4 so i thought i'd try 18

    To uninstall I renamed this directory
    /home/YOURNAME/.macromedia
    to something else (which deleted the plugin from firefox for me)...

    The above enabled me to use xsane as a normal user in 9.04 Jaunty 64bit with a canon N670u.

    Only error now is files permissions when I close xsane...
