You'll need a tiny script for the touchpad to be multitouch. But other than that, it works fine.
I don't know what "screen rotation" means though. I can rotate the screen through system >...
I hunted down the patch 8b0e58a70a7a41443c779de074288035b014cb94 and attached it here.
Then, I applied all four patches and compiled a new kernel. Upon rebooting, I get the following error:

So there's a patch in the wild.

I spent two hours looking for a newer kernel that included that patch in vain. So I tried it the hard way, but no...
.
So...it looks like there's a bug filed for this already.

Guessing that it's the same model, since it's a 11.6"...
Ok. So I had to load Win7 to check the touchscreen model. Turns out the touchscreen driver is from ST Microelectronics. I'm clueless about how to find the model, but there shouldn't be many 11.6"...
Hey folks,
Just acquired an Acer Aspire 1825PTZ tablet and loaded 10.04 on it. Not only does the touchscreen not work, but it's not even properly recognized as an input device.
"xinput list"...
Well...you then need to remove the module. On my system (Jaunty), blacklisting pcspkr didn't disable the beep until I threw in a "sudo rmmod pcspkr".
Hi all,
I can't find any way to customize the mail-notifier so that it displays the sender of new emails. So far, it pops up saying "1 new message", which isn't very productive 'cause you're left...
Thanks, that fixed it.
I had issues with Amarok not playing anything either, and this fixed it.
sudo apt-get install phonon-backend-xine libxine1-ffmpeg
Nah. Running the command with sudo gives the same output.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it.
Hi all,
I played around with somebody's conkyrc to customize it, and it now looks exactly like I want it to.
The only issue I have is that the original file just listed usage for the root of...
I had the same problem for months, ran across this thread, tried enabling PulseAudio in the sound panel and everything works like a charm now.
Hi all,
I've been thinking of building a simple switch (3-pins, I suppose) that connects to the USB port and have something keep track of the number of presses. Now, I briefly skimmed USB specs...
Thanks for the replies.
I did some more digging around the unit with a multimeter, and it turned out the noise was actually from the power supply unit. Didn't notice it at first because it's...
I have this G4 that decided one morning not to boot. Absolutely nothing happens. I decided to poke it around and went checking the power. Turns out when I plugged the juice in, a hardly audible...

Ok, I just installed Perlbox. In three years, it didn't evolve much but it's still very functional.
Anyway, the doc sucks. So, it took me five minutes to realize that to start it, you need to...
Perlbox worked like a charm last time I used it. It was specifically designed for that task.

Hello,
It's been shown that no two people type in the same manner, enabling the

Sure.
Technically yes. You pick which OS you wanna boot from a list. A timer is installed by default to make life easier. You can of course later change the order of OSes and the timer...
This is a very subjective subject. I don't see anything wrong with Totem (except maybe the RAM usage and lack of configurability). Maybe you should specify what you mean by "unfinished". Do you want...
