i got a question.. i need to share 2 directories.. /home/shares/test and /home/shares/allusers for 2 users, tom and officer

tom can only access to the test directory, but officer can access both...

my bad.. a lesson learnt.. there is a difference between


sudo apt-get install openssh server
sudo apt-get install openssh-server

i am not able to install as the required files are not available on the machine. i have downloaded the file...

i would like to know how do i install ssh and how to enable the putty to be able to access it..
it will only be for internal LAN's access and no external connections are allowed..
