    Just confirming that reinstalling did speed up Dash's launch.

    I have an ATI card, so used the following instead.


    sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-ati

    Dash is faster, but...

    It worked for me!! Thanks a lot bro :)

    The one feature that I missed was Post Processing, which I depend heavily on. And yes, the UI (of 0.8.x) was much (much) simpler.
