  1. [ubuntu] Re: Best filesystem configuration for hard drives of multiple sizes

This would create 2 different volumes unless you suggest combing them with something with lvm.
  2. [ubuntu] Re: Best filesystem configuration for hard drives of multiple sizes

Actually, RAID5 with your proposed additional drives would only give me 2.5TB of usable space, since RAID5 usable space can be modeled by this equation:

    (n-1) *s
where n is the number of drives...

    Re: SSH Key Problems

There are many arguments about whether rsa or dsa is better. RSA is faster and more secure. If you look at man ssh-keygen, it says that a DSA key has to be exactly 1024 bits long to be compliant...

[ubuntu] Re: Using X list to search in Y list

You can also use the diff command(http://linux.about.com/library/cmd/blcmdl1_diff.htm) to do this.

You could do something like this

    diff a1.txt b1.txt

You can make a bash script for this:

cat dir1.txt | while read line
    do
    grep "$line" dir2.txt >> lines_that_dir2_has_that_dir1_doesn't.txt
    done
