I'm having these same issues. When I first installed Ubuntu 10.10, suspend was working great, but now it freezes the system.
I also deleted all hidden partition of my Asus and can't access Express Gate anymore. My Asus model is 1015pem.
Is there any way to reinstall just express gate?
