    Hi, If you have one of these PCI-E X-Fi Xtreme Audio cards... then if memory serves they are not really X-Fi cards at all... they are rebadged Audigy2 cards.

    Do NOT - I repeat NOT - follow this guide if you are on 9.10 or 10.04 as it already comes with this built in.

    Cool, have updated my post to include this... which card to you have? Mine is a X-Fi Music card (PCI model not PCI-E).



    Don't see why it wouldn't, it's basically just an ALSA upgrade.
