Problem is that this is not necessarily a time problem, seeing how it gives you problems but for me it's running flawlessly, best distro I have ever installed, ever. I only have one little problem...
I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but I'm pretty sure that you would require better spelling as an IT student, might as well show that level of knowledge while posting on the forums;...
We don't seem to have the same problem, since mine doesn't work full screen even if I pause it before going full screen, and my ESC key always works to exit the full screen (which doesn't work...
I don't know if I read right but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with my problem :s
I'd like to know the exact same thing, if someone can help please. Thanks.
Nevermind, I just solved it looking at other threads on the forums, sorry for repeated thread.
Definitely Ubuntu seems like a a better option for us Newbies. I'm really enjoying 10.10, which installed flawlessly with all codecs and addons such as flash, java, mp3 etc. It rocks.
My Ubuntu 10.10 is asking me for a Keyring every single time I load my Empathy. It was doing that to connect to wireless but it was fixed by sharing it with all users. However, it's still asking me...
Can someone help me please?
I didn't install any, ubuntu just worked out of the box and never offered me proprietary drivers. It's an integrated graphics card on my Laptop (Dell Inspiron 1545)
Well as the title says, I have pretty smooth playback on youtube videos, no problems with flash whatsoever, but when I try to go full screen the sound goes on but the image is frozen. If I go back to...
I didn't have a single hassle with 10.10. Installation went perfect everything worked right away (video card wit effects and resolution, sound, wireless, mp3, flash, everything). I didn't have an...
This did it for me!!! Thanks!!!
Then go for it! But don't throw caution completely; you need some for the installation (we want everything to run smooth :P)
You could always try to reset the panel to default:
rm -r ~/.gconf/apps/panel
I was surprised too!!! My internet is not very fast and on release date the servers are so full of people it always takes me ages to download! Today it was amazingly fast and no problems.
I didn't install much but it did run smoothly for me.
I was expecting something like this to happen to me. All the contrary, the system is sooo smooth I'm surprised. I have to accept I didn't expect that much of Ubuntu. Perfect 10.10 for me :D
Ah thanks! I screwed mien too no idea how, I'll reset it with this, thanks.
I completely agree with this comment. Some people may be too purist and want to do it the old way, but I don't see anything wrong with the SC.
Wait so it says your Chrome already has flash installed (which it does indeed by default) but you still can't play youtube videos? If it's indeed already installed it won't let you install again. You...
This one's pretty cool actually, though I can't remember out of hand if it has everything you listed as needed. I'd give it a try though.
Never mind, I just dropped Linux altogether once again, as every time I try a new version...

Hey people. As the title says, I'm having video issues with my graphic card while using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32 bits. When I'm watching video (Either on youtube, or a dvd or whatever) There are...
